Yes -- WouldBuild is completely free during beta. Paid plans are planned for the future; early users will get locked-in pricing.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. Use the "Try the Demo" link to explore the app with sample inventory, no signup required. Create an account anytime to keep your data.
Does my data sync across devices?
Yes, once you create an account. Your inventory, projects, and settings sync via the cloud automatically. You can also use the app fully offline without an account.
What AI model powers the project generator?
WouldBuild uses Claude by default, with optional support for other models. The generator reads your selected inventory items and produces a full build plan, including a cut list and shopping needs.
Can I use this for a shared/team workshop?
Multi-user shared inventories are on the roadmap for a future Shop Team plan. Reach out via Contact if this is something you need now.
